What is New Marking System for 2017-18 Academic Session

1. Board Examination- 80% of Marks & Internal Assessment- 20% Marks
2. Board Theory Exam - 80 Marks
3. Entire Syllabus will be included in the Examination
4. Marks and Grades will be awarded for individual subjects
5. 8-Point Scale Grading System
6. Student has to secure at least 33% in each of the 5 Mandatory Subjects (in IX & X Only)
7. Internal Assessment Salient Features- 20 Marks
8. Will be completed through three different modes-
   1. Periodic Written Tests: 10 Marks
   2. Notebook Submission: 5 Marks
   3. Subject enrichment activity: 5 Marks
9. Co-Scholastic Activities- Co-Scholastic Activities will be graded on a five-point scale (A-E) but there will be no Descriptive Indicators.
